Limitations to know

  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first – the tool cannot open encrypted files.
  • Very large files (hundreds of MB) depend on your device’s memory.
  • Bookmarks (outlines) from the original files are not carried over; pages, text, images and links on pages are.

Frequently asked questions

How do I merge multiple PDF files into one?

Add all the PDFs to the tool, arrange them in the order you want, then click “Merge PDFs”. The pages of each file are appended one after another and you download a single PDF.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Merging happens inside your browser using JavaScript. Your PDFs never leave your device.

Is there a limit on the number of files?

There is no artificial limit. The practical limit is your device’s memory; dozens of normal-sized PDFs work fine on most computers and phones.

Does merging reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied as-is, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
